"You could miss the place just walking along the street. What gives it away is the large Argentinian up and down grill in front, with red hot charcoal getting ready to do its magic. The restaurant is tiny: eight tables for four persons each. Wine...and beer and soft drinks. And beef. Oh! The beef. There are the usual cuts: steak, sirloin, kebabs, even hamburger. But the picaña and the arrachera are the specialties. The picaña, little known in the US but a staple in South America, is the rump cap or culotte of beef, with a nice layer of fat. Broiled in a size of slightly less than a pound, it is moist, juicy, savory and beefy. The arrachera is the skirt steak cut in Mexico and is usually marinated. Here it was perfectly seasoned, unusually tender and had the right texture to savor its splendor. A small bowl of black bean soup is served as an appetizer. We also ordered “chistorra”, a Spanish chorizo-like sausage, thickness of a finger, with guacamole and tortillas. The salad is exceptional, made with lettuce and a delicious green dressing with herbs and mayonnaise. Our multilingual waiter João is Portuguese but teaches Spanish, French and German. We predict he will open his own meat restaurant very soon. An unassuming simple, intimate neighborhood place near the Costera Boulevard and the large hotels, it easily offers the best beef in town. Also, reasonable prices"

"I went with my family to round up our wonderful holidays in Acapulco. The place is beautiful, food is delicious, meat is juicy and ambience is amazing. Fernando and Jose Luis, our waiters are very polite, attentive and courteous. Prices are a bit high, however...you can find anything in the buffet or in the menu and high quality steaks. Creme Brulé gladly surprised me, it was soft and delicious: THANKS! My only recommendation is with the hostess, she invited every person to write a comment in Trip Advisor very happily, except to me and my family. Since we arrived she might probably have thought that we couldn’t afford the restaurant because we were dressed up in very casual beach clothes. You must never look people down! We’ve been to the best, most expensive or cheapest countries. Watch out for discrimination or negative attitudes towards clients. The rest is an asset! CONGRATS!"

"We where here at sunset time, in a table at the terrace. There's nothing else to add more than the fact that it was absolutely perfect. The place, the view, the food and the service. I'm looking forward to come back because we had a memorable dinner at Saffron."

"In recent years we have heard how good this place was (they opened July 2015), now we have finally gone there! To be honest, we went there three times in the last two weeks, yes we enjoyed the food so much! For us the location is convienent, it is directly at the Costera in La TORRE De Acapulco building so that you really don't see it street level. It is located above the circle K in LaTorre De Acapulco. The TORRE is located next to the Calenda Hotel. The restaurant service is excellent, we had the same waiter every time and he speaks good English. The only withdrawal is the menu. In Spanish, but they told us that they are currently working on English menus. But in the middle time, the waiter and the boss/owner Edwardo will explain all the elements on the menu in English. In our three visits between us and our friends we have eaten the fabulous beef medallions that are in a delicious mushroom sauce (my favorite), salmon in a delicious dijon sauce, reserve ribs (do not miss the bone tender, sauce on the sweet side), fillet mignon cooked to perfection, a Peruvian dish that corresponds to our pepper steak, but served with delicious Peruvian spices With our meals we had a choice of two, between rice, baked potato, crushed potatoes, French fries or a Peruvian salad. I always get the salad and a strength, all very well. You take credit cards that are very wonderful. Just to give you an idea of prices, the beef medals are 220 peso, how is a full strip of pork ridge ribs, the fillet Mignon was 250 peso (and a good size), the pepper steak dish was 150 peso. Empanadas we have 2 one night and three at the other night and they were 75 peso at Oder. I'm sorry not to remember the price of soup. We found the prices to be fair. We look forward to our next visit! Oh, I almost forgot, they also have another room, it's like a bar like atmosphere and completely separated from the dining room. This bar like rom has a beautiful bar area, two pool table and a beautiful seating area on the window on the Costera, and they also serve food in this room, not sure whether it is the same menu or a seperate menu... I have to ask this question."

"I had the salmon and my husband had the ribeye. Mine came with 4-cheese rotini pasta and his came with a tomato salad. My salmon was just a tiny bit over cooked but his steak was perfect! I got a to go box as the...serving was enough for 2. Don’t let the outside fool you. This is definitely a repeat visit.we were the only customers and they kept the door locked. Both are results of COVID. So sad."

"Essentially a good restaurant with excellent service. I tried it for breafast. The food was well prepared, but they didn't ask me how I like it. I had expected the chorizo to be separated from the eggs, but they mixed it all....The coffee was exceptionally good. What I found strange for a tourist place is that they had no bread at all. If they want to attract foreigners, they have to change that. The waiters were great and very helpful."
