"Change of leaseholder meant also a change of the quality of the food. Certainly not for the better. We had a dinner party with 22 people. For starters the choice was between a chicken salad and smoked salmon. The smoked salmon was nothing special, nothing more than just the smoked fish. The chicken salad was quite big, with little salad and of average taste. Main dish of salmon was rather poor. Fish was partly cold, beans and potatoes or rice as a side. The steak was ok, nothing special. Dessert a fruit salad with choice between two sorbets. Though promised before vanille icecream was not available. Prices are rather stiff. Service a bit too much free, bold. Good coffee."

"Following recommendation from the tourist office we decided to have something to eat here before going for a small hike. It was just what we were looking for...very typical Swiss chalet and great food. The Rostï was one of the best i have ever had! In my opinion the prices were a bit too high for what we had, but the great atmosphere and quality of food made up for it. Very nice little rest stop"

"Nouveau patron au refuge pour notre grand plaisir .. accueil, service et bon produits , carte simple mais goûteuse.. bon rapport qualité prix ! Manque juste une viande rôtie autre que filet de bœuf .. ( steak ou entrecôte) ."

"Sunday lunch for , booked ahead. The the menu is just fantastic. The spring rolls really good The mushroom risotto sensational The deserts to “die for” The owners family) just make the experience!! Nothing is too much trouble. Good wine list Reasonable pricing...It’s without a doubt the best food and experience you could get in the whole of Switerland. Highly recommended"
