"This is a wonderful place. We look forward to seeing that we are going. we are rarely visitors as we only go here when we travel to armagh to go to the marketplace theatre and with kovid it is only our third visit. in about three years, so they don't make much of a living on us. we have never been disappointed here and have really enjoyed our last visit. they receive the meaning of hospitality: the greeting is warm, the eating is great and the whole personal charming. I chose a steak chip, but it was a scarce thing to a delicious sounding vegetarian risotto, but it was my third din in 4 days with the other two not meat, so steak it was. I asked for medium, I have medium. the flesh was really tasteful. I asked for English senf (best in the world) and it was a yes and I tipped the tweeper rings for taboos and it was no problem. only in order to pass on the number of so-called steak houses, which have not been English, is as exaggerated as it is unacceptable. the tasty steak had a bacon jam on top. I never heard of it. it was salty, sweet so speck, balsamico vinegar perhaps sugar, I ate it all, although my personal preference remains senf. I would like to try it as a spread on roasted crumbs with a slightly fried egg above. the only thing I would change in my meal is the pfeffer sauce, but again it is personal taste as I would add double cream and much more black pfeffer. my wife decided to laugh and she explained it delicious. everything in all in a cozy environment. Hopefully we'll be back sooner than later."

"Visited the vault bistro in Tandragee this morning for breakfast and I must say that the service was top marks. I was welcomed by the staff and made felt at home. Fussy that I am, I asked for my bacon to be well done and crispy. To me that's what service is all about. I would highly recommend the vault for any meal...."

"I want to try the restaurant uluru for ever since it has moved to the new location of the market street. I have the opportunity today to do exactly that when I met a friend for lunch in pooragh. I liked uluru, an Australian bistro, now I love it even more! the new restaurant is warm, welcoming and beautifully designed. service was great, wein beautiful and eat luscious. I had a wonderfully delicious goat cheese salad (cheese mousse, poched pears, roasted beet root and mini poppadome) accompanied by a side of hand-cut chips. all were washed with a few glasses of beautiful, smooth chardonnay. Heavenly eating. uluru still offers a separate, dedicated vegetarian menu that is good to see and I cannot wait to taste all vegetarian dishes. Top brands to uluru, which I now appreciate, are one of the best restaurants in northern Ireland. I would recommend this brilliant restaurant, it is definitely worth the trip to armagh for a brunch, lunch or dinner. since happy cow will be awarded only 4 out of 5 stars to a restaurant that serves meat (what I completely agree) I will point out that I would give this restaurant 5 stars if I could how to eat fabulous. would highly recommend uluru. updated by previous review on Friday, 1st January 2016"

"Best Chinese take out for the ABC area. No illuminated sign switched on because everyone locally loves and buys from here. One of my favourite meals is special chow mein with curry or satay sauce added. I imagine portion size is reduced and I know there are less king prawns but the tender chicken breast slices,char su pork slices with the rest make it so yummy. Up a bit in price now at £8.00 but so worth it."

"Lovely meal but the Irish coffee not great. They use glasses that are too big. Bland flavour too much coffee and very little whiskey. It's a shame cause and Irish coffee is not hard to make"

"My hiking group of 24 people came after a nice walk along the canal to the coffee and to midday sleep. four tables with six tables were prepared for us with fresh scones. we received the choice of coffee or tee that was served us almost immediately. the scene was delicious and as we stayed over them, fresh tee and coffee were killed again. the staff was helpful and friendly and there was a pleasant and efficient air over the place. our whole group enjoyed the experience and we look forward to a return trip in a few weeks time."

"I've called in twice during the last month, late on a Sunday afternoon after a towpath walk. Nice home cooking, lovely selection of buns and cakes, limited menu for soup and sandwiches for lunch, but (unlike some other places) staff amenable to making toasties etc even when close to closing time. All very fresh and also accurate to any personal preference requests. I'd also mention that for anyone who can't walk very far, other than at busy times, there is room for several cars to park directly in front of the door and only 2 or 3 steps with a rail into the cafe itself."
