"This is what Switzerland needed: an organic gourmet beef burger served on top of a mountain. In the early days I liked to get to the SIT huette and get my fix of McTwist burger and the famous fries. Mirko and his team have now upped...their game. The Big A(rosa) burger is completely sourced from local ingredients (the cow never left Arosa, the bread is from the local baker etc etc) and although my expectations were sky high, they were definitely met! It was a great experience and can recommend every visitor of Arosa to drop by and get one."

"We were lucky enough to be able to enjoy 3 superb evenings at the Golfhuus recently and can 't wait until we 're able to return. From the moment you walk in, there is a very relaxed and welcoming feeling to the place and it provides a...fitting end to a day spent enjoying all that Arosa has to offer. Jens and Sebastian provided great service and catered for our every need including providing a 'gap ' between courses as we requested. We had eaten there in previous years and wondered whether we would be as impressed as before when deciding to book a table this year. We should not have worried as the whole experience was first class aw always. Of course, I have to mention the food which is expertly prepared by Volker in the kitchen. He always manages to raise the bar every time we visit. It 's great that he comes out to the table to welcome his customers and discuss the menu to ensure that he can deliver a great experience for everyone. Volker concentrates on quality and taste on the plate rather than on presentation. It 's the sort of place where you take the first mouthful and know that it 's going to be a great evening. We enjoyed an apero before the meal including one of Jens ' specials (a passion fruit caipirinha). Afterwards we sampled some fine barique Grappas with our coffee. It 's so nice not to be rushed along in a restaurant. We cannot recommend this place highly enough on all fronts, i.e. food, service, ambience. The staff are genuinely keen to ensure that you have a great evening and that you will want to return again soon."

"We enjoyed our lunch at this small restaurant near the "Brüggli" in the upper parts of Arosa, on the main street . The Gerstensuppe (local soup) very, very nice. And the french fries with a Schnitzel superbe. Loved the interior decoration as well."

"Ein sehr herzliches, warmes Willkommen vom Team, ein gemütlicher Tisch in asiatischer Atmosphäre und jeder Gang ein authentisches Highlight, egal ob scharf , moderat, ob Fleisch oder vegetarisch. Was die Crew auf kleinstem Raum zaubert ist jedesmal ein Erlebnis und sorgt für einen gelungenen Abend. Zum Dessert noch eine Kugel hausgemachtes Eis oder Sorbet und dann nur noch in eines der gemütlichen Kulm-Zimmer und die Seele baumeln lassen. Das ist Lebensqualität auf höchstem Niveau.Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal. Danke an das tolle Team !!"

"The kitchen is worth it's michelin star. The staff is very friendly and nice. The starter with the marinated salmon-trout wrapped in a Nori sheet has been the highlight of the evening. The decoration was superb. The fish soup had a very tasty stock, the fish was ok. The main course had rabbit and was very tender, good presentation and a nice portion, only the food was not hot enough. Also to wait always for the sauce in every course is a little too much. Wine list is fantastic, hotel ambiente and furniture very nice."
