"Ein ganz besonderes Lokal mit tollem Ambiente. Sehr altes Fachwerkhaus, liebevoll restauriert. Service und Küche ist ein Gedicht. Lecker und ansehnlich angerichtete Speisen. Serviert mit einem italienischen Charme. Molto Bene.Ich war schon mehrmals dort und bin bisher nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Bekannten die ich dabei hatte waren auch jedesmal zufrieden."

"We stayed in the guesthouse/side accommodation of the hotel. Rooms small, bedding should be replaced and in general the rooms were just in need of a upgrade. The dinner was worse - as the second sitting of a tour group, we had to wait over 30 minutes, once seated for replacements. We were told we were going to have a traditional German dinner (being German myself), I can tell you that this was the furthest from traditional German dinner that I have ever seen. However all of this could have been looked over for 1 night had it not been for the worst service I have seen anywhere in ALL my travels. Unfriendly, indifferent and just rude - I actually saw one waiter take the ladies plate while her fork was still in her hand!!? We made the right choice by leaving the cattle line for dinner that was not coming and found the best...traditional!! German restaurant and had a FANTASTIC German dinner"

"Every now and then I succumb to the need to explore an expensive restaurant with a reputation for innovative cuisine. Sometimes I am pleased but Le Chopin was a disappointment. The reception staff told us the second restaurant at the hotel was full and encouraged us to make reservations at Le Chopin. This should have been a tip-off, as Le Chopin had few diners and the other restaurant was indeed bustling. Le Chopin has only three entrée choices--tofu pasta, salmon and rabbit. My salmon was very much undercooked and my date's pasta was overly salted. Her sparkling wine by the glass had lost its fizzle. The room is beautiful and the atmosphere would be great if only the food had been adequate. I hate to say it but this was probably the worst as well as the most expensive meal we had on a 19-night trip in Europe. Given the otherwise excellent quality of the hotel and its other restaurant, I am confident that management will notice that Le Chopin gets few customers, and these are disappointed."

"Travelling back with my son from a business trip in southern Germany we stopped over in Boppard and found the Romerburg. We had a great laugh with the landlord and took his recommendation and enjoyed one of day's "specials" of pork loin steak with a Spanish bean salad and a side order of chanterelle mushrooms delicately fried with garlic and white wine, delicious! The service was fast and attentive and we would definitely go back."

"This lovely restaurant in an old mill is several small rooms on different levels, cosy and warm with good service and excellent food innovative starter and beef cooked rare and tasty puddings delicious worth walking to find it although in Boppard needs...a little effort with is rewarded good wine list too"
