"Four of us travelled to Brattleboro on a Sunday morning, and as we had heard good things about Duo Restaurant, we chose this as our brunch destination. Parking was easy to find nearby. We found the interior of the restaurant to be very welcoming with its openness and unusual fusion of original tin ceilings and brick walls with contemporary wall decoration and lighting. The host and the waiting staff were very pleasant and delivered us cooled water without being asked. The menu offered a dozen different dishes as well as pages and a breadboard, and several piqued my interest. I ordered coffee and a Moimosa, and I chose the Agriturismo Omelet served with crispy potatoes. My mimosa tasted like it was made with fresh orange juice, a delicious surprise. The omelet, with cut cherry tomatoes, diced pancetta and herbal goats, was perfectly cooked and not overwhelming in size. Crispy is the right word for the lovely potato dumps crispy on the outside and still delicate on the inside. At the end of the meal, there was no morsel on my plate. We have also divided two very tasty surfaces: a butter cream cake with fresh strawberries and cream and sorbet, and a salted caramel trifle, our favorite. A great meal! Duo is definitely on our list to look back soon."

"Not a bad place to stop crossing your way through the green mountains of Vermont. Two weary travelers pulled off the road to get some food and rest and were amply rewarded. The grilled cheese with tomato and the cheeseburger were pretty good. Service with a smile and clean restrooms. A nice setting outback with picnic tables overlooking a nice meadow. Price is very reasonable and food a little above average. #stevensleavin"

"There are many vegan options and the personal are very good over all of them, I have even said that they use a separate frit for vegan items, so there is no crosscontamination! the only disadvantage is that it can be a bit expensive."

"We were a party of four and I was thrilled to taste the first time and the menu looked delicious and so the specialties. we had the whispers I was disappointed in. had a completely different taste in comparison to traditional new england clam chowder and the kartoffels were too big for the bite. had the duck breast, which was a little chewing and hard in the middle and the likes was very watery and not much taste. would have been better than glaze or thicker for more concentrated taste. the kartoffels were a bit dry and also had the ravioli as an appetizer and I felt there was too much pasta and not enough filling. the salmon was well cooked, sauce was excellent and tasty. the side was missing from spices or a sauce. the muscles were well cooked and the taste was excellent. the oysters were in comparison to the size expensive and the sauce had a very pronounced vinegar taste. densified outside and the atmosphere was nice, but a mosquito trap would have been nice, we were often disturbed by the mosquitoes. the meal was not cheap and was not impressed with the whole meal."

"An absolute jewel! we have the opportunity to visit based on the many good reviews and we were so happy that we did it! we got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and cheese (5/5) and the vermonte apple cake. they can not go wrong with this place that deli is welcome and they will go with a full bauch! note: they can sit on the picnic tables next door on the market!"
