"We drove 45 minutes from Coulonges sur L'Autize to this restaurant after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. It's a small restaurant (but has outside space in summer) and was very busy Saturday lunch time. However, staff spoke English and French and welcomed us to a table for two. Menu was limited, but service quick and food excellent - me and my wife both opted for a "beton" platter of beef and onions, spring rolls, rice and salad at 12 euros. We will definitely be visiting again when next on holiday in France. This place is a jewel."
