"We had a really enjoyable meal with family recently. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. It was a fixed price buffet at £19.95 per person so worked out feeling relatively expensive. However, the food was lovely and we could have ordered more, had we wanted to. Thank you."

"Don't have fish and chips often at all so has taken a few years to get here... We usually share a large cod the large was actually 2 smaller ones so turned out well. Staff all great, great choice of food and place very popular. Chips could be a bit more generous if looking for a minor fault but on the flipside the curry sauce was the best I've had from a chippy and a very generous tub! Will use next time I'm sure!"

"Not much to write home to be honest about being pretty Drab interior with many loud children walking around, ditto the unkempt beer garden. dogs in the bar and in the garden. eating was cut and drinks ok but beer selection nothing special and prices quite high for the opposite. there is better for less in locality, leave it so. but nothing to really complain about all quite ordinary if they usually like."

"Great place for a working lunch on a Friday. There recommendation. Xmas menu was great. Staff were attentive and showed good efficiency and communication. Fire place is amazing. Shame couldn't stay for the music being set up bet its lively oh next time I'll bring my golf clubs. Club at the same venue!!"

"I ordered the veggie burger, which came with fries and coleslaw, and I was really surprised by how small the portion was for the price. The burger was pretty small and there was only a handful of fries. It was nice enough, but not worth the amount being charged. They were also out of quite a few things on the menu, in spite of it being pretty quiet and the service was very slow. One of the waiting staff was lovely, but the others seemed like they'd rather be elsewhere, it was hard to get anyone's attention and it took about 20 minutes to pay the bill.
