"We’d heard many great reports about this hotel, which seems to be THE place to stay in Cape Cod over the summer. We just visited for three nights over Thanksgiving. We were very happy to have been offered a free upgrade to our superior cottage room to an ocean view in Harbor Watch. Unfortunately the room didn’t quite live up to expectations. The ceiling had a leak signs of at least two there before), bathroom tiles were broken and the window shutters didn’t work very well. The room was also lower ground floor with creaky floors above and thin walls to the neighboring room. The beds were comfortable, there’s a good TV, coffee machine and the bathroom was ‘ok’ otherwise. What is without doubt 5* at the hotel is the service. With one or two exceptions, all staff seemed delighted to help and always attentive to your needs. You can’t book at the Tavern but we managed to get a table for two nights around 5.30pm. It does get busy but there always seemed to be space. The breakfast is great, with a buffet $42) or menu option. There’s a lovey festive feel to the hotel with all the Christmas decorations up. The large sitting room in the hotel is a lovely space for before and after dinner but it can get busy. The nearby town of Chatham is beautiful and there’s lots of great beach walks nearby. Overall definitely worth a visit but peak season prices will seem a lot unless they fix the room standards."

"Always, always, creative fresh menu items incredibly talented cook and employees. Professional waiting staff and host dinner, Saturday night there were some electrical problems with their POS and they didn't miss a beat! Our favorite place cozy and clean, bar is busy and lively, a great mix of casual elegance."

"When I arrived I ordered a burrito and asked about the tempeh another reviewer mentioned. I was told by a surprisingly surly teenager that you have to call ahead for it, or wait for 20 minutes to have it cooked. I went on their website before stopping and nowhere was this mentioned, the idea of calling ahead. I skipped it, not wanting to wait and ended up with a bad burrito. I wouldn't ever go there again. There are way better options in Hyannis and p-town for vegan food. This is an only if you're desperate sort of place."

"Sad day for our go too spot after a baseball tournament in Chatham. We showed up after a Tourny like normal and was told that we could sit at the 4 or 5 outdoor picnic tables like we normally do because we had kids with us. We didn’t understand what was different from 2 weeks ago when we were there, but we went outside to figure out what we were doing. Now the problem begins, I kindly let the hostess know that we have showed up with the exact team and have never been turned away. The hostess then said “see ya next time” and ROLLED HER EYES.Stinks we have to find a new spot."

"Came here and thought I could have a decent Taylor Ham and cheese on a hard role based on some dude on Instagram rating it #1 in NJ, which could not be further from the truth. It ended less than average, stale hard roll and just a few slices of Taylor Ham. Huge disappointment. The place was not crowded at all on a Saturday morning, which is suspected as every popular deli is always crowded. Bad part is it was near $9. Never again."

"I called before arriving to make a reservation and was told I did not need to make one, and in fact they were not taking reservations. When we arrived we were given a 30 minute wait despite the open tables. When I asked my friend if we wanted to wait, the host decided to comment on my private conversation in a rude tone. However our server Gavin was amazing. Best person ever. His service was excellent. I feel bad he has to deal with this management. I believe it shows his character that he hasn?t quit yet. Food is overpriced but good."
