"I was too tired to cook and needed to eat, and eat well. I started with œufs en cocotte, sauce au ceps. Oh Lordy. So very VERY good. Keith had gravlaxx. The cure was very light, no trace of dill, he said it was good...but not as expected. I had a second starter, foie gras with mushrooms. Normally a beautiful slice of liver beautifully sautéed, this time not so good, the mushrooms weren’t hot, but the chef had generously added sublime slices of smoked duck breast, which were light years away from what one buys sous vide in the super markets. Keith loves the beef served here, but for a change he had filet mignon de pork. As usual excellent service and we left very happy."
