"What a wonderful and very professional restaurant, one of the best in Puerto Vallarta area. Argentine Italian. The family that has this restaurant, knows what they are doing as they own restaurants all over Mexico, and even started a restaurant in Texas. All food has been wonderful - from steak medallions to home-made pasta bolognese. They have another restaurant located in the same building - La Peska. Fee Margaritas and Martinis for the ladies from 7 to 11 PM on Fridays."

"The area around Bucerias and La Cruz is known for excellent tacos, so saying these are the best is really saying something. Tacos on the Street only uses ribeye, grilled and chopped fine and then provides a selection of fresh and delicious salsas and other...toppings. One thing that really stood out to me was the tortillas. These homemade corn tortillas were thick and fluffy...almost the texture of the four tortillas served in the states, but the flavor was so much better. If corn tortillas were like this in the states, far more people would eat them I think. Also, don't miss the flan for dessert. Unexpected and delicious! This great food is served in a relaxed, casual and warm atmosphere. Tacos on the Street is not to be missed if you find yourself in La Cruz!"

"Casianos is newly located at the Alamar Beach Club in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. The location is ideal for this delightful culinary experience. We were offered multiple option for seating, either in the dining room or on the beach, all with beautiful ocean views. The staff was outstanding in their service. We especially enjoyed the lobster in clam sauce and the filet of beef. We had the 5 course meal but when we counted, there were actually 10 different foods that we were served. The sea bass served with lentils and plantains was tender and moist. We loved our meal so much the first night that we actually returned the following night and still couldn't decide which meal was better--both meals were that good."

"We saw this passing through La Cruz, looked it up and saw it had great ratings. Was hoping for lobster, hence the name, but apparently it's named for the street it is on. In any case, I had my best meal there. Red Snapper, prepared with butter and cilantro. Others in our party also raved about their meals. My husband chose a pizza, which was huge and he said it was good as well. The food presentation was beyond excellent. I wished we'd visited here sooner as we would have gone more than once. Beautiful inside as well and friendly staff. (They did have lobster, I just went with the fish this time.) HIGHLY recommend."

"Tricky to find but well worth the effort. On the road west from la Cruz towards Punta Mita right on Detiladeras Beach. Ask a local for directions as if you blink you will miss it. There is a sign next to the road and parking via the underpass to the beach. Excellent Seafood. Coconut Shrimp, various seafood, awesome BBQ Ribs. Simple but excellent food with an out of this world beach."
