"Used to love going there quite a few years back way before COVID. Then gradually the quality and authenticity of the dishes started to wane. Just to name a few of my old favorites, the General Tao Chicken used to be crispy with the delicious sauce over it but it became soggy on arrival. The Hunan Dumplings in peanut butter sauce became heavy and doughy, dropping to stomach like lead. The almond cookies have very little almond in them. This is just to name a few dishes of many that have lost their luster. So paying so much more for lesser quality is painful. Sadly we're left with La Perle as the restaurant a cut above the rest at quite the price."

"So I saw the reviews before trying this place. I Saw 5 star for the flavor, 1star for service. But I had the opposite experience.I will give this a 3 star but here is a break downService 5 STAR. the gentlemen was VERY NICE. GREAT SERVICE. However, I can see that the woman owner can be bad for many customers. Luckily we had the guy. We saw her roll her eyes with another client at cash.Quantity 5 STAR. WOW just amazing quantity. I've been to many vietnamese restaurants but these quantity were like from 10 years ago. They don't cheap out here.PRICE 4 STAR. VERY FAIR. comparable to other places.FLAVOR 2 STAR. We had Pho, Bank MI, rice and vermicelli dishes but all lacked flavor. The soup needs more beef flavor. Banh MI more pate or some sort of salt pepper at least, vermicelli and rice I don't know how to correct it. Maybe more flavor on the meat or a bit of something.We will try it out another time for a fair judgment."

"Great value and really tasty! If you want a regular dish you have several options for 8.95 which comes with either your choice of spring roll or wont ton soup anytime before 4pm. Once its past 4 pm its 1 more. The portions are really big it comes with a side of vegetables and rice with your main dish. If you chose to order off the main menu the portions are decent sizes and fairly priced. You can try a bunch of options. The have a location in DDO and downtown Montreal. They also do delivery if you were interested!"

"Called for takeout last Saturday, was told sure no problem but only enough rice for two plates then we’re closing . Picked up an oxtail and jerk chicken plate. After effect, food poisoning and sick for 5 days. Called and spoke with Danny, he wasn’t even interested in any details and his response was I’m sorry. Stay away!!!"
