"We been coming here mainly for the vegetarian chili soup! It’s my husband’s favorite and he really love how tasty and healthy it is. As for the spaghetti, the pasta is way overcooked, saved only by the fact that the homemade tomato sauce is really good. Servers are fast, friendly and efficient. Desserts are awesome too!"

"Hy is an institution. I was in Hy’s in British Columbia and it was wonderful! Toronto? Much less! The Caesar salad was blanching; the garlic toast was soggy; the baked potato was not thoroughly boiled; the steak was dry and filled with Gristle.... The food was expensive (expected for a high-end steakhouse), but not paid the price. I gently expressed my dissatisfaction to the waiter and he did nothing to resolve my concerns. I'm so disappointed. I had hoped and expected much better!"

"Whenever possible near st Lawrence market I drop in here for some of the best baguettes possible and a pastry. Always busy and crazy in the place and hard to get your favourite breads unless your there early in the morning. This day I got the last loaf and a black forest pastry. I could not wait and as usual, lots of butter."
