"I've been driving to la caverna for 7 years and it's never disappointed. eating is really amazing and very cheap, the lasagne is the best they find everywhere! the personal is fantastic, the restaurant is small and cozy with candles on every table, very romantic, they try the sangria, they can not go wrong with this place! make sure they book at the weekend as there is a hidden gem, they wouldn't know that it was there to drive past, but behind the blinds they have a relaxing, family-friendly restaurant, with first-class food and atmosphere they will try it"

"Food was mostly nice and delivered hot! The Char sui pork was not nice. It lacked taste and seemed soggy in texture. The sweet and sour chicken was nice back needed more sauce. Was a little shocked that after more than £80 we don't even get a bag of bangs. Overall we will order again give some other bits try"

"Waited 40 minutes for staff to take order, eventually one of our party went to search for a waiter. Fish was overcooked, batter dark and crusty and fish within dry and shrunken. Tiny thin fries were tepid and full of hard baked inedible bits. The roasts also looked overdone and meat was in short supply. Would have complained but we were guests of other members of the party. Our second visit last time the meal was mediocre as well. Will suggest going somewhere else next time. A shame, because it's a pretty little pub in an interesting location."

"Gave a treat to grand children (7 5 years old) and tried this branch due to vicinity of home. Welcome was warmish, we were early diner cause children needed to go bed around 8pm latest. Restaurant was well laid, spacious and well heated! Drinks arrived soon after ordered, although few diners in room. Later it was packed around 7pm. Starter we ordered a calamari to share, due to a difference in methods used in various restaurants competitors, oily, too much crumbs and plastic taste. Kids loved mozzarella bites, vegetable kids as starter not really liked, but kids are hit n miss on that. Ordered a margherita royale pizza and dough was tasty, well presented and good looking. Wife had penne with salmon, again well mixed, salmon was flaky pieces enough in the plate and just enough spicy hot. Children has spaghetti meatballs which were in a large size for them and tasty. Tiramisu as dessert was very tasty, well presented and gorgeous. Best of all dishes was the pizza!!!! Well worth shouting about it"
