"I was visiting for lunch on Monday, regret the pub was closed as it also is currently on Tuesday's. Never mind, I am bound to return on another day of the week soon. I have eaten there many times return because I have never had a disappointing meal in their restaurant! Also great value for money. :"

"The dishes are always tasty and the quantities plentiful. Great value for money, plus the delivery was really quick. The spices used are not excessive as I have unfortunately eaten in other places where the food is so spicy that it covers the flavour of what you are eating. Congratulations Spice…..!!"

"Went to the Woodman Arms last night with my husband and a friend and each one of us had a lovely meal. We were greeted with a genuine smile from the young lady at the bar when we arrived and shown to our table which was in the restaurant area of the pub, what a lovely place to have a chat and a meal, the background music was just at the right level and the chairs were very comfortable. You could see the beautifully kept garden area outside and all in all it was a very pleasant place to have a meal. The portions of food were very generous and we all commented on how each other’s meals were totally delicious. We booked again before we left to make sure we get a table, I can imagine it gets booked up quite quickly. I’ll make sure I tell all our friends what a lovely place this is."

"We were looking on the island wight on the search for eating on the Chinese site and this place had the best commentaries on the island. I could not be right anymore! my wife loves it; good eating, perfect service, but the most unexpected what I loved was. cutlery sealed in plastic bags with serviette and wet fabric for cleaning your hands! I saw tissue at some places, but not very often, but this combination was perfect! especially in these days. so highly recommended! go and try, you will not be disappointed!"

"We was lucky enough to find the sun pub on a sunny 31st May Bank holiday on our tour down from the needles. And wow! Hulverstone itself is a super scenic place, but the views offered from the Sun pub out across the fields to the sea are nothing short of beautiful. Also I must mention the live music on offer, the friendly staff (Thanks Alex, I did tell you I was leaving a review! The food arrived in a very presentable way, I have taken some pictures of our meals this day, also I have a picture of the current menu as of 31/05/21 My only pointless complaint was a small wait for our cutlery once our meals arrived. Alex remedied this immediately. We would not hesitate to use the fine establishment in the future. A big thank you from the Howe family."

"I was at all Roxie locations. obviously I'm going back to think they're making a decent steak. on this special day we went for the Sunday roast. the garnel and chorizo stars are delicious. the creamy spinach was a but thick; the maischekartoffeln was delicious. Those who had the filetbraten were very satisfied, the huh was slightly dry. my sirloin steak from delicious; the picanha was just fine. they allowed us to bring our own birthday cake without fee. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, although there was only one other table in the restaurant. this seems a thema of roxie wimbledon location. it is reasonable and ended about £60 per head. it was not set, but would not be my target."
