"We arrived at our rural ‘homestay’ apartment about 8 KMS from both Firgas and Teror on a holiday Monday when no shops were open and we did not fancy the drive to Firgas or Teror and back for a restaurant. We gathered that Los Chorros, 3 kms away, had erratic opening days and times but we noticed that it was open when we drove past to our accommodation. Just before 18:00 we made our way there and found that it was quite busy but it seemed to be winding down. We asked if we could eat. The waitress said that we could and she would ask the chef what there was still left. The food that we chose from what was left was very good. The cost for the 3 of us including a half litre of wine was only 33 Euros – excellent value in the middle of nowhere. Service was friendly and attentive."

"The owners must be related to everyone who has posted a positive review. Come on, I don't understand how you can give a good opinion of the site. Summary of my visit: wrinkled potatoes like boulders, fried fish with less artistry than Belén Esteban's book and paella... to give it a name, I have seen chicken stables with more presence. Also final dunk, a shame."
