"Love this place! The staff are wonderful, we always feel so welcome and nothing is ever a trouble for them. The food is excellent, my hubby is oober fussy about steak and has had about 9 steaks there and never a complaint. The quiz night on a Wednesday is a great laugh, with free chip butties! Everything a pub should be and more!"

"A small communal pub with a larger seating/dining area in the free. we were here with a pretty big kids football party and the staff here were excellent and on the party with ease. great service, nice little pub. a great stop for a pint or a bite when they drive down the coast."

"This place is like Freddie Karno's Circus. It is chaotic. Firstly our ribs arrived looking like they had been microwaved. Tough, anemic and poor sauce. We sent them back and had them removed from the bill. The waitress apologized. My wife's teriyaki salmon was nice...and my burger would have been if the chips weren't stone cold. I sent them to be replaced and the waitress apologized again. We had to find another waitress to get more drinks as ours had disappeared for a while. We chose deserts. My wife's was fine but when I asked if the Chocolate fudge cake was hot and was told it was, it arrived cold.The waitress apologized again. I sent it back to come back lukewarm. I just eat it as every time it took ages to find the waitress who was permanently busy even thought it was Monday night and the restaurant wasn't full. I would have asked for a reduction has I not had a discounted voucher. It is no wonder pub chains like Brunning and Price thrive against amateurish competition like this. I won't be going again"

"Ordered 3 meals one was a fried rice meal, one was with fried rice, the fried rice was not nice, it was mushy and not what was expected, disappointing especially as Two Dragons had been recommended. The third meal was ok came with chips which were rather hard. Don't think will be ordering again in a hurry."

"We are locals and used to love coming to the farm shop. We visited yesterday with family but left before ordering, the food is overpriced and the log fire burning is terrible even though it’s outside the smell fills the indoor area. I’m not sure who wants to eat brunch with the smell of wood burning lingering! We were only there a short time and could smell the smoke on our clothing once back in the car."

"Stayed at herons reach Holiday resort place a 75.00 order which was wrong ordered whole duck all the trimmings spicy box sweet and sour sauce, chips and gravy x 2 pork curry with boiled rice, special kung po Singapore fried rice. Lady on the phone even though I speak perfect English had to repeat the order 5 times and repeated all bacl to me. Order came 1 hr 40 mins later with no Singapore fried rice. When called got told I wasn't a priority I work as a delivery driver when I or the restaurant make a mistake it goes out straight away. Got told could be up to 2 hours. By a ride guy with a manc accent. Won't ever order again don't recommend ever!!!!!"
