"My Daddy has been taking me to this place since I was a kid!! I no alive in Chicago,but when I visit this is a must go!! I would love watching how they prepare the polish for me and my dad!! Definitely gives me a feeling of nostalgia. Historical place and it will ALWAYS get 5 stars from me!! ?"

"Fried rice sits in a pool with sweet and acidic sauce. My chicken is just crispy. Have another piece of meat to find inside. Egg roll is the size of a pencil, but the length of a Crayon. Ridiculous and overprice"

"I don't want to pay for dinner I could have done better at home. I have the chicken philly. 1. they use the wrong broth, so it was so tender and fell apart. 2. there was no cheese! only a lot of crispy dry chicken. 3. within 5 minutes drive to home the veggies were devastated and soggy. 4. The pommes were like cold mcdonalds pommes. the same applies to my daughter cheese burger and pommes and the dessert of my sohnes. for a average of $10 per person I was disappointed and dissatisfied! it is not even as good as the overpriced, greasy bs from the limonade place above the road. probably not back. there are better prepared eating at jj’s, rico’s or even subway in the truck station."

"*Edit* 8/15/19 I don't like that the prices change from day to day. A couple of days ago I ordered a large fry w/extra sauce and it was 2.68, yet today the same exact thing was 2.94. I've dropped my rating from a 5 to a 3 for this reason. Beware it's cash only. I just tried for the first time last night. That mini tip was affordable, tender, and delicious! Will certainly return soon for a larger version or the same depending on my budget."

"So let 's start with the receptionist, she answered the phone saying yeah with an attitude. And when I proceeded to talk it was like she walked away from the phone. So I called again and she gave the phone to a male speaker. I complained about her but I 'm sure nothing will be done. If you can 't talk to your customers in a professional way then you shouldn 't be in food service. I could care less if they 're located in the ghetto. It 's because of the people in the ghetto that they 're in business and making money. Anyways,I ordered their beef with broccoli,two egg rolls, and crab rangoon. The beef tasted funny so I only ate half of the broccoli,the egg rolls were too greasy and lacked flavor. The only thing I liked was the rangoon. I do not recommend ordering from this place at all. Instead I advise you to place an order with Wing Wah but they don 't deliver. I refuse to spend another dollar at this place."

"Ok. New owners, new experience. The bar menu was what you would expect from a bar menu. It was good and tasty. Prices are significantly cheap. We called to see how late the kitchen was open (time of call was 8:55pm and the person who answered was 99% the owner of the place. He told us that they close at 9pm on Sundays, but asked us how far we were coming from. We happened to be just down the street at the time. He offered to stay open for us and sure enough, when we got there we received great service. The food was good good bar food. We stayed there for an hour and a half and we were treated very very good. The only reason I gave 4 starts was because we have not been there for dinner and want to see how their food is before rating the place overall. We received good service and our food was very good."

"Updated 6/18/22: Called order in, arrived after the 20 minute timeframe and waited an additional 10 minutes. There were 4 workers behind the counter on the serving side and 6 customers in the lobby. I ordered Turkey Tips and a jerk taco. I like the sauce on the side so I could taste the authenticity of the meat. This is the first time I've gotten the sauce sealed as shown in the pictures.However, this isn't my first time, just a different experience each time. The restrooms were clean and the cashiers were friendly."
