"It was my first time there. The food and the service were good. But I found an dead tiny insect in my vegetables and I told the waitresses. She says it was a vegetable insect, she pretended nothing happened. I told her I cannot eat the insect. She quickly took away the veggies and my plates and told me she will give me new veggies. The new veggies came then my girlfriend found another bigger insect. We put the veggies away and didn't eat it. Paid $31/each including tax and tips."

"The best soy sauce chow mein you can find! This is one of the hidden gems for your breakfast and brunch eats in Richmond. Reasonably priced and if you get there early enough, you can grab a complimentary newspaper. I highly recommend their breakfast pairing of the thousand egg congee, chow mein and hk style milk tea. I found the congee didn't contain much MSG as the other congee shops I have tasted. The congee was full of flavour and the consistency was thick enough. The chow mein was delicious and made with a sweet and tasty special soy sauce blend. I chow mein they used was a bit flatter and wider and very chewy which I liked. Definitely worth trying!"

"Big chain Korean BBQ joint with lots of locations worldwide. The service is great here, however the prices are on the higher side . They have lots or options and the each table has a giant fan above . The meat and quality of food is great however reflected by the prices as well. Once again the service was superb, they would come around changing our grills multiple times throughout the hour. Definitely worth a try."

"Possibly the best Chinese bbq house tried so far! All their bbq is charcoal grilled which gives them a nice wooden scent that other bbq houses don't have. The meat quality's great, and the best thing is that they are not as spicy and salty as other places. My girlfriend tried their grilled fish before and said it was pretty great as well.<br/ <br/ The reason I'm not rating higher though the spicy pot dish in 2nd pic took longer than 30 mins, and when it finally arrived, the waitress sent us the bill before we could even finish half of the dish. It's a great place for bbq, but you might need to be prepared to wait for your food and tolerate the service during peak hours."

"Visited for the first time this afternoon. I ordered the Beef Brisket and Beef Tendon Noodle Soup. I enjoyed it very much. The flavors were spot on. The Beef Tendons cooked nicely and broth was tasty. I did find a minor issue with the brisket. Some were a little tougher than the others but this is like say only a minor issue. Overall i had an enjoyable moment while eating here. I would come here again."

"Good Curry, but not as good as Xyclo Vietnamese Restaurant. Very nice place to eat, friendly staff and fast service. The price is not bad for the place you are eating in, but if you are the type of people who want cheap fast food type restaurant like in the food court or something like it. This is not the restaurant that you want. Steveston Village in not a fast food friendly place. It is not a eat and run and cheap place to go. Sometime the lunch time hour between 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm can be busy.<br/ <br/ This place have excellent food, so you have to be willing to pay a little more. Xyclo Vietnamese Restaurant have to best curry between the two place. There is places in East side of Vancouver that you can get cheaper asian food, but do not expect the same service or quality like the two Vietnamese Restaurant in Steveston Village. <br/ <br/ I see many write about Steveston Village Vietnamese Restaurant all the place and the internet. This place is like buying an Volkswager jetta and the Xyclo Vietnamese Restaurant is like buying a Honda Civic. Do not expect a Mercedes E 300 and want to pay Kia car price."

"Came for lunch on a Thursday and we were promptly seated. Service was polite and attentive from what we could tell, and our food came in pretty short order. Richmond isn’t exactly known for being a ramen mecca, but Kyoto Takenoko is helping the city give Vancouver a run for its money. I ordered the Spicy Miso ramen and it was a hit for me. A smooth, full-bodied broth with a variety of toppings like bean sprouts, corn, bamboo shoots, and even some finely diced red onions for texture. The pork was incredibly melt in your mouth tender, and everything together was just pure bliss. My mom had their tonkotsu ramen whose broth was just full of delicious umami porky goodness. Prices are on par with other ramen joints but servings are more than ample and for $15.95, you can get your choice of ramen with any one of their rice bowls (ikura and mentaiko are my favourites), or some yaki onigiri and chicken karaage."
