"Super Sunday lunch …. We finally made it on for a Sunday roast and wow it was worth the wait The beef was exceptional and is cooked overnight so just falls apart I do love a brisket but could never achieve this level of yumminess ! I will add the meal came with awesome thick gravy and a great selection of veg , Carrots,Broccoli,cabbage and perfect little roast spuds All this topped off with a mega tasty cauliflower cheese and a puffy Yorkshire (choice of chicken also available so I had a bit of both) 10/10 we shall return D :0)"

"Such a wonderful place to go for a meal. The food is absolutely amazing, the atmosphere feels very homely yet special and very reflective of the fantastic views. I’ve always found the staff to be knowledgable, helpful and kind, and we’ve loved the beautiful gardens. The values of the owners are reflected in the building, food, decor and events. The price is always a bit on the treat end for us, but always absolutely worth the money and never feels too expensive for what you get. Highly recommend."

"Just over a week ago we had the best day celebrating our wedding here at this beautiful hidden gem. We honestly can’t thank Karen the two Rich’s and all the team that worked that day enough for giving us a perfect and memorable day. From the first time stepping foot into the pub, meeting Karen and the team I instantly knew it was going to be a place that would be special to us forever. The day was full of fun, laughter and delicious food (if you like a big portion you certainly won’t go hungry here I can’t believe the day has been and gone we want to do it all again and we wouldn’t change a thing about it. So again we want to give the biggest thank you to all the amazing team at the Boars head for all the hard work you put in to make our day what it was! A truly unforgettable one .
