"Excellent restaurant, distinguished but also casual! Friendly and operational staff! When with dishes: the heart of calf ris is sublime! The turbot net with amazing and very good lenses! "We already enjoy this restaurant some times and it is currently our favorite in houlgate. it is not expensive and whatever we eat (meat/fish/seafood) was always fresh and beautifully prepared. In addition, the waiters/witresses are friendly, attentive in their various styles and amusing. highly recommended."

"Nous sommes allez manger au 48 entre couple d'amis, nous avons tout de suite été très bien accueilli. La serveuse fut très aimable et serviable ainsi que souriante . Les plats étaient vraiment très bon, de très bonne quantité et qualité. Les prix sont raisonnables."

"The food quality is noticeably above average comparing to the other places in town, and yes, we tried them all! The price is reasonable considering the fine meals we had there. The grilled bar was delicious, the veggies too, the crispy chicken was an excellent...surprise, the duck was great as well. We haven 't tried the deserts, so we can 't recommend any in particular. If you are looking for a very fine place in Houlgate, I 'd recommend Les Halles or l 'Eden (which is a different category, more expensive but also gastronomique . The service was very pro and friendly. Make sure to call to book a table during the high season. It 's our go to place, we have not been disappointed so far."

"Have a family lunch under the window. Saint jacques and pasta with salmon, good but the portion of the accompaniment of the holy jacques is not generous. Also ordered a salmon cake, which was cruelly lacking salt in the buckwheat paste. dessert pancakes: almonds chocolate, caramel apples very good. and a very disappointing lemon crêpe because a lemon crêpe is not a sugar crêpe with a piece of lemon placed on it. Convived synthesis on satisfied. quite disappointed by the lack of control of the basic cakes and pancakes."
