"I have been here twice and both times, so far. The owner comes from the Vaud region of Switzerland, so I recommend trying wines from this region. Excellent choice, especially the white wine from Lutry. The staff is very attentive (but not too much) and the food is excellent. More importantly, the whole, location, food, wine and service is well balanced and makes the stay a pleasant experience. Kid-friendliness: My own judgement: Using common sense, well behaved kids are welcome. It is not a playground or kindergarden, so kids won 't be able to run around extensively play, but they will be treated very friendly by the staff. In front of the restaurant there is a boat style play option. Parking: There is a large underground parking (Herrenacker) directly in front of the restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant has ground floor rooms, so wheel chair access easily possible. I don 't know about the toilettes, though. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 80–90"

"We walked in on Maundy Thursday a little before opening at 6, and were welcomed warmly even though it was before their dinner seating. Had a nice local draft beer (Falken Weizen,) local fish, and chicken Caesar salad. The staff were nice, friendly, and attentive. There is a camera in the kitchen where you can watch your meal being prepared. The fish (excellent) came from the Rhein River (sorry can't remember the name) and was very nicely done with some greens, potatoes, and lots of interesting little flavors decorating the plate. The chicken Caesar was also excellent, with lots of interesting flavors. The service was attentive and friendly (we are English speakers, and they accommodated us perfectly.) We would definitely go back again. We live in Basel, and are used to very high restaurant prices. In comparison, this was reasonably priced for the value."
