"A handy spot to lunch if you are driving between Bordeaux and Toulouse, a minute drive off the highway. Also right opposite to the train station. Very, very basic in appearance. One rather shabby restroom covering all, so frequent in France. Service friendly and helpful, having problems with English.Several local wines to choose from at modest markups. Cold starters of buffet type not bad, but far from inspired (or inspiring), Several main dishes on a daily changing basis, all quite well prepred in the traditional manner. Good desserts, do not miss. All in all, a good 10+ on a 1 to 20 scale.Recommended indeed for a short lunch stop, prices truly convincing: 22 EUR per head for a good three-course wine with beer and fine white from Sudouest."

"En effet nous avons été rapidement installé avec mes enfants mais le service a été vraiment trop long. Après notre entrée je pense que le plat n'avait pas été lancé en cuisine puisque la serveuse est venue s'excuser. Du coup pour la commande des dessert on lui dit ok; on choisit mais on veut que ce soit rapide. Au bout de 10 minutes elle n'étais toujours pas passée prendre notre choix donc on s'est levé, régler et nous sommes partit. Que dire sur les plats que nous avons eu: correct. Un très bon accueil aussi qui est a signalé. Un bon rapport qualité/prix"

"So, yes, we get closer to what we can eat in the old nam............ compared to the so-called na-mien old restaurants that are actually Chinese copies....... even if tastes and flavors are adapted to us Europeans. service really nice. The Bordeaux-style snails made in their cannery, the cooking of the meat respected, the meat of the tartare of excellent quality, the homemade fries, the cheesecake that is just impeccable.
