"Swinging by before opening for dinner, we were lucky to secure the last table for four people. I’d recommend: Pork gyoza with leek Pork gyoza with plum Grilled Mochi cheese with seaweed Miso beef tripe I also like their complementary edamame."

"Small, friendly, teppanic restaurant. Chief owner, I think. Fusion of Japanese Teppanyaki with a European spin. Well done. We went for the JPY3500 course all good and excellent value for money, but I think we should go for the JPY5000 course because that has better cuts of beef. The Tokubetsu, muroka, Genshu-Sake on the list couples nice with the food, but unfortunately they had only half a bottle left when we were there. Limited English spoken as with most of these types of places but I think that fine Google translate works miracles!"

"Hearty burger sets for very reasonable prices. they serve the burgers that are deconstructed, which is practical when they are picky over toppings and they have urly fries! also booze, milkshakes and other foods from hawaii are available. the atmosphere of this place is very strong - they even have Hawaiian radio play!"

"Surprisingly great food for a place obviously focused on drinking, with a big cocktail menu. Japanese tends to do Italian cuisine with a subtle flavor which came through quite nicely here. We had a coupe of pizzas, starters, and stews. Other fusion dishes were also nice (we especially liked the tomato beef tripe). Recommend you give this place a go, but you should book ahead during the busy season."

"Delicious!! OMG if you come to Hakuba, this is one of the restaurant that you need to make a reservation for 2 days in advance just so you know! The food is fresh and in a good proportion, not so pricey but not cheap also. Menu is in English and the people here can understands you well ... if u can speak Japanese or at least English. But a bit tight, my crew have to squeeze in to a very small room with one table and have to sit on the floor.. not a good seating ! but you will manage to look pass it... because the food was quick and so....GOOD! Wow! Really!!"
