"Itsara was a rather unique restaurant offering both indoors and outdoor seating- both of which are air conditioned! The garden and decor was lovely, adding to that Thai feel. The food was a bit pricey as one may expect, however the taste and quality of the food did not disappoint!"

"It is hard to find prepared satay that looks and tastes authentic. today we bought some of the chicken and bark meat saturation sticks from herrn weezee and cooked them on a grill hob. cut off with its authentic, aromatized erdnus sauce, they were delicious. price: about $11 for a dozen sticks. he also sells marinated bark meat for stew dishes. good value and a welcome change from the supermarket versions of Asian food."

"Reasons to love this place: food is great, pricing is reasonable, service is excellent, the atmosphere is cosy and friendly and not stuffy. The waiters look like they are having fun. Chez Pierre has been in business for many years and even on weeknights they are almost full. That tells you something about what everyone else thinks of this restaurant."

"These guys pump out great breakfasts, from toasted fruit loaf to waffles to the full scrambled eggs with bacon on toast.For mine, the scrambled eggs could be a little more cooked, but everyhing else is spot on and generous.The difference this visit was that four of our five hot drinks were not that hot.Mentioned to staff. Hopefully they take it on board - possibly sitting too long befre delivery."

"Puff the magic dragon lives by the sea and frolics in .......forgot that bit but frolic is the word. It's a special day when I get a Pusey Puffs beef pie for dinner for the family. I never pass up the opportunity to get a butterfly cake, freshly baked, light as air. I have taken to avoiding the whole strip as Pusey's, Feast and Angry Almond all in a row make a bad recipe for the pocket and the waistline."

"Food was ok but letdown by a female staff member (the manager who made us feel really uncomfortable and tried to get us to leave immediately after eating in a not very subtle way... Bringing the bill which we hadn't asked for, and then coming back and saying are you ready to pay now' 5 minutes later. Then continually eyed us up after we paid until we left (on a quiet Tuesday night no less, with all of 3 occupied tables). Pretty rude really.. and no thank you' or even eye contact once we paid. Service really let them down. Shame as the curry was (overpriced but) nice."

"Great casual Vietnamese dining. the food was very tasty and came out at a reasonable time considering the restaurant was full on a Sunday evening. the dishes are also a very good size which is more than I can say for the current trend in Indian cuisine which is to serve your main in an egg cup."

"Considering this is the only Vietnamese eatery in the area, I'd recommend it for anyone seeking fresh and authentic Vietnamese food, reasonably priced (for the area!), and don't mind the casual Chinese town outlet atmosphere. <br>

My favourite dish is the Bun Ga Xao, which is really fried noodle and chicken. Have tried this dish in other Vietnamese restaurant, and I must say, my palate loves Viet Nosh's creation the best. Not too oily, perfectly spiced, and just plain delicious. <br>

If you do dine in, bear in mind, it's got a small dining area. Nothing fancy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and you do get their service with a smile; you almost feel like you're in an Asian country, really. Last I checked in, the only inconvenience is that it only accepts cash - but hey, there's a nearby ATM! <br>

"The service is good, but that is it. the cocktails are water sugar and were perhaps touched by a bottle liqueur. eating is even worse, the meat in every dish is hard and bad quality and the ingredients are poor, unless they like to swirl and much of it."
