"Excellent Massaman curry. My son said that this is the best Thai food that he's ever had. I had a house special fried chicken pieces with cashews and veggies that was also excellent. The Panang curry was good as well."

"What a Jewel! we had luck coming without any booking thanks to the super friendly American staff. the food was excellent! very efficient and friendly service. beautiful view of the pond and the harbour. I would like to go back and try more dishes! highly recommended and please book them in advance if the big groups do not come to sit."

"Lovely establishment away from the town centre of Nelson in a very peaceful, quiet and relaxing setting. They have really nailed the 'Ye Olde English Pub ' vibe and it 's got a really charming atmosphere. Every member of staff I interacted with was friendly, helpful and seemed grateful for my business. I stayed one night in a small single room and it was very comfortable and featured everything I needed for a good rest. The food in the restaurant was really delicious (especially the Crispy Pork Belly) and the range of beers and drinks available was excellent. I really enjoyed my time here and can highly recommend it if you 're looking for somewhere a bit different to the usual country motel."

"Incredible eating, friendly, relaxed atmosphere, did I mention the delicious eating? we had the blackback, the bark fillet, the duck and the tiramasu for the desert. everything was amazing. the truffle butter with the brot was a manifestation. but what our night really did was the service. All the workers were really warm and friendly, especially vicky, who made us feel that we were their best friends for life. would definitely recommend, definitiw will go back when we are in nelson."

"Popped in for brunch the first day of our holiday, great service very quick and friendly. Meals were generous in portion and packed full of flavour. I had the Eggs Benedict and hubby had the chicken waffles with hot sauce which he declared the best breakfast he has ever had. Highly recommend."
