"The first time we went with eight people on a Friday night and it wasn't so busy. The food was very good and they gave us a big table back. Nobody rushed to go. We stayed about three hours a little hard to find, not in the main part of Newark, but the food and service were both good."

"Order over the phone with credit card,,but driver didnt call or text. When driver shows up he takes pictures of my ID and CC without my authorization and said this protocol. I contacted the restaurant they said its allowed and ok. WRONG AS PER BANK AND NPD. ANYONE TAKING PICTURES OF ID WITHOUT IS FRAUD FRAUD.AND CAN YOU YOUR INFORMATION. This company needs to correct their delivery policy. ASAP ."

"Great food, well seasoned, adequately priced, and bigger than expected portions. Good beer selection, too. There was a live band that was a bit too close to the tables and a bit too loud, but it didn't take away from the experience too much. We'll be sitting inside next time."

"My first time here and I'm glad I chose this place. let me start by waiting for about 40 minutes, but who cares about freshly roasted fish and roasted chicken. the baked mac was delicious, collard greens tasty, fried chicken, wels tasty, maisbrot with sticky and sweet, that was not for me. Apart from this overall great experience I will be back."

"Superb experience and superb service from top to the end. I celebrated my wedding 30th anniversary here last week. Today i realized that i have to go back to OpenTable to write review to show how appreciated everything i experienced in this tex-mex restaurant. We had Fundido and Shrimp cocktail as appetizers, then i had steak fajitas and my wife had chicken carbon for entree. Everything was properly seasoned and the smell of steak fajitas was all over the place, taste so good. We tried 4 different margaritas, all of them are excellent, my favorite is the jalapeno infused margarita, it was served in paprika salt rimmed mason jar. But the best part of our dinner was when our wait staff surprised us with dessert written on the plates happy anniversary. I mentioned to my reservation that we are celebrating our wedding anniversary , how great that they are really paying attention to details of reservation. Then the general manager came to our table shake our hand and introduce his self name Richard, we had good conversation with him. he was very thankful that we choose Borders to celebrate our anniversary. After he left our table i notice that he is going to every guest to greet them, what a great man. We are going back for my daughter birthday celebration in January, i wish all the best luck and i wish we always get the same experience every time."
