"Well worth staying here for the food if you like unpretentious, traditional English food, lovingly prepared with fresh locally sourced ingredients then this is your place. Family run, the owner is obviously an accomplished chef. Best meal in quite some time and way better than any “gastropub”! Home made pies with shortcrust pasty (I had slow cooked lamb), belly pork, fresh hake, dressed crab, fresh warm bread something for everyone and all of it excellent."
