"I went through Nashville and wanted a barbecue for lunch. She saw Martin's BBQ joint and decided to try it. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a side of baked beans. After they took our order, they told us to sit where we wanted. We sat at a table next to the pit and finally asked my friend what was above my hands. It turns out that it was a fine ash layer on the whole table from the pit. We moved tables and didn't mention it. When the food came, I thought the BBQ was very good, the sauce was the perfect mix of tasty and sweet. The baked beans were also delicious. The establishment in the restaurant was old and well done. I would definitely repeat staying away from the table through the pit."

"Good food. I'd have to call it fast food sushi. I think this would be an awesome place to do take out. But as far as dining in, I felt rushed and not particularly comfortable in the environment there. My wife loved it but I wasn't as thrilled with the service and hustle. Maybe we'll try it again on a weeknight when things are in such a hurry but I was disappointed in my visit during a rare date night. I still gave it 4 stars. I think it might be a great place for younger folks who are in a hurry."

"This is how much sauce they put in the cups...Also gave me a veggie steamed bun instead of beef.The only reason it is 3 stars and not 1 is because the dumplings are good and so are the pork steamed buns and seared steam buns.Update: changed to 4 stars because they said they would give me a beef one next time I come"

"I came here to try their birria tacos after seeing people share great experiences about them. Turns out those experiences are from other locations of this chain, this one doesn't serve you birria tacos with the bowl of broth. It's just the tacos made quick with minimal toppings. Don't come here for birria tacos, you'll be disappointed."
