"Cactus Jack Waterfront Bar Grill, Marinatown Ln., N. Fort Myers, Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. As the name implies it is on a river waterfront. So for those very very very few day that you are allowed to enjoy comfortable weather this is a good place to go. My server Cory did an outstanding job. I went with beef enchilada. No fried beans. : I will say this. I was surprize about the black beans. It actually had flavor. You could see onions in it. Unlike every other place I have tried where the black beans are bland. Ahh the beef enchilada and rice. Nothing to write about. Just bland rice on the side with typical floridian wannabe Mexican food. Maybe other good stuff but pass on this entree, unless you like black beans. This has a good ambience feel. So give it a try for that. Prices at lunch were reasonable."

"We went for a family dinner, as we saw this restaurant was close to home. The service was okay, and food was mediocre. I had a steak that was not well cooked, appetizer was bland, and everything was just average. The setting was nice, just not worth the money."

"May 2019 Brookes, Hancock Bridge Pkwy, N. Ft. Myers, FL., Here are my 2 cents on the food. I ordered about Bissquad. It was delivered fast and hot. I just spilled the severity. Stuff I tried the pot with garlic bread, green beans Maische taters and Gravy $12.00 When I took the bag, it felt hard... a good sign... Although the bread was cold, it tasted good.. Many beef, good beans and potatoes. Compared to others in the area large tasting beautiful size part. A real thumb. I was here before I came back. September 2017 Brookes Restaurant Lounge, Hancock Bridge, North Fort Myers, Fl. Here are my 2 cents on the food and chatter. I went for the special, Cajun fish and black beans. The fish was perfectly boiled, season with Cajun spices, BUT reveals down for the wimpy taste buds of flickering. Just not spicy as you would find in Bayou. The black beans were tasteful with a hint of salsa. But again I had to add hot sauce. I like my food like my wives, HOT SPICY. Service was excellent. Now people here are my 2 cents on the food a chit chat.... WOW I was so suprized on the large part of the fish. I have passed this undescribed end of a small stripe mall for too long. This was a Saturday lunch special. A cajun fried fish sandwich. The fillet could have made two sandwiches. Now it said Cajun, but it was for the unspoken taste buds of floridian... Not really sharp. But it was very delicious. It was fried to perfection. Tartar sauce was okay. Cole Slav average. You have a selection of regular frits, fresh Amijo potato chips or waffles. Next time, I'll get the guns. All this was the best fish sandwich I had eaten in my 4 years of fish. I have had more seafood in the last 4 years than in my whole life; ...I am a meat meat meat meat of nature and choice... And the waitress and other employees made an excellent one. Open the job. I'll try other ducks again soon."
