"The ambience and service are 5. The food is very average. Nothing special in my opinion and so on price. Salad was understated and very average. Risotto was good, but not better than any other restaurant I was in. Branzino was a little weird. Taste combinations, I'm just not sure if they worked. Olive oil cake was dry and I just didn't taste the dessert. You pay for the ambience and the service, so if that's okay with you, I'd dinate here. I have many meals that were much better. I honestly think that Wrt reviews for restaurants in general many people have high expectations in and then drink before their meals, get slightly buzzed and think the food is fabulous. And then write a review. Maybe I'm too picky. But I really didn't think the food was very good. It's okay. There were some things we enjoy, so I'll say it was a hit and misexperience would eat. At the price point, the entire meal should be impeccable. That's my expectation."

"Amazing view with great breakfast to fit it. The view was so green with so many flowers and the atmosphere was amazing. Not too many people talk about it, but the music choice and the volume was really nice for the setting. I had a salmon bag and it tasted amazing. There was a generous amount of food (especially capers) that were absolutely delicious."

"We visited an outdoor wedding at the Lavender Inn, which began in the afternoon, followed by a reception that extends to the night. The terrain is beautifully maintained and lush. From the farm you can see the mountains north and south. The interior of the Inn was clean and beautifully furnished with periods. The food was very good and included a mixed green salad with canned pecans and crispy blue cheese with a strawberry vinaigrette. The most important courses consisted of a pasta with marinara sauce, a chicken breast dish with white sauce and roast beef. We are vegetarian, so I can't comment on the taste of meat dishes, but I didn't hear any complaints from the guests. We enjoyed our time on the grounds of the Inn and would recommend to anyone looking for a rustic place in a natural environment that gives a sense of proximity between the guests that is very different than that of a hotel ballroom."

"In Ojai we created a Mexican food, so we go for a Mexican restaurant, found this place and came here at 11:00, just as they opened. They served nachos with salsa at the moment when you have set yourself free, what a plus for me was at this moment, costume service was amazing, food was amazing and the place was very sweet. I had the tacos and my friend the barbacue salad. It was so interesting to taste the wet Tres delicias cake tradition of Mexico so well!"

"Absolutely amazing time! Came and was with our incredible waitress Tara and honestly think she made the experience up and beyond. This was mine and my husband's first time here and she led us to the best dishes and wine selection as well as great rapport and conversation. Would absolutely recommend. The restaurant is like a small oasis that gives spa/Japanese zen vibes. It only works next to the multi-course meals. Thank you very much!"

"Found this place through Axxess. Fast and friendly service, delicious food, beautiful outdoor location and clean toilets. Free chips and salsa provided. I have the chimichanga and Relleno plate, about $11, both were very good."
