"Pretty good food with a cool vibe and couple nice pinball machines. Weekly specials as well.Also had some of sask's hottest wings one summer that were no joke which was nice for a change."

"At the end of August, we took the short drive from Regina to Pilot Butte anticipating lunch at the Blue Rooster Café. Two from the group had dined there previously and suggested it. We were disappointed upon arrival. There were no vehicles parked near the café. There was a closed sign on the window. There was no announcement of closure on the website so thought perhaps it was just a temporary closure. So we found an alternate place to dine. Later when I checked the Facebook Book page (link is at the bottom of their web page) I saw the announcement that the Café closed at the end of July after five years in business. Recently I went back to the Facebook page while I was preparing to write this review and was surprised to learn that the Café reopened in September new ownership and new hours. If planning to go, there are daily announcements of the specials on the Facebook page."
