"The best place on Southside to scrub after the party at night. The chicken on a stem with roasted rice is legendary. The owner himself is a whole show. He goes out to make sure you feel welcome and take care of you. He must have been a former comedian because he makes talks with ease from thin air and has quick fire comebacks for your answers. The food itself is a bit pricier but appropriate for Southside. You definitely get your money with the huge part where the food comes. Part of food is while part of food is meh. I recommend the shrimps spring rolls and chicken on a stem."

"Limited menu restaurant with updated changes. Salads are good. Panzanella was excellent in a previous visit. Tonite blue cheese and walnuts was good too. Cheese was mild and tasty. Cheese is their specialty. Next time I will order a cheese plate. Eggplant meatballs I’ve ordered twice and it was delicious. We had chicken dish and a beef dish. This is a unique experience with jazz and a bookstore. Everyone in Pittsburgh should try it. I had fried tater tots, fried pickles. Would not recommend heavy fried foods. Full bar. Street parking limited, ."

"I was in New Orleans last month the food at Nola was better then 3 of the restaurant in the real Nola. The Po boy was to die for. Onion soup was delish. Green friend tomatoes very good. Hubby had vo do pasta it was fantastic. Would recommend this place. Staff was good and efficient."
