"We have been coming to the Bridgeview since 1976. It's not fancy, but the food is good and the quality is consistent. The weekend breakfast buffet is a local draw, with all kinds of good things (and some strange ones,too) to try. The diner hasn't changed in forever, so if you're into the classic diner thing, you won't find a better place. The patio is right on the river at the marina with (you guessed it) a view of the Johnstown-Ogdensburg bridge! The patio is a unique structure: part party tent, part RV parts, part board on board fence...charming! Well worth a drive to Johnstown, or a stop before or after crossing the bridge."

"Not having donairs in the US makes me want them whenever I go to Canada. For the last 2 weeks, I have had donairs as a platter, as a pizza, on a pizza base but not baked, and here I had it as a wrap. It was pretty much the same ingredients as all over - beef, tomatoes, onions and donair sauce in a wrap. Apparently the other places add some spices into their meat and here it was pretty plain. Still, it was good."
