"Great Malaysian curry ..quickly and good value. Had the coconut chicken curry w rice and it was delicious. Not usually fond of takeaway or fast food but this one rates well."

"Excellent, efficient service. The wait staff was polite and helpful. The menu choice was sufficient for lunch. The portion size was plentiful, the food attractively plated and the steak cooked to exactly as asked, rare'. The meal was delicious. Overall a very pleasant dining experience."

"Richlands is a bit of backwater when it comes to getting a decent feed, which is why this tiny (and inexpensive) restaurant proved such a good find. The restaurant itself is very small sit at one of the three or four outside tables if...you are even slightly claustrophobic, The atmosphere is not great either inside or out but the tastiness of the food and the grace and friendliness of the staff will soon have you overlooking that. They say that duck is the specialty of the house and we would certainly vouch for the Hot Wok Duck' dish. Also liked the Thai salads (green papaya and beef) though probably the dish we loved the most was an entree, the stuffed mushrooms. Totally unexpected and utterly delicious. The restaurant does a bustling takeaway trade and also offers an array of lunch specials, which did not get to sample but sounded excellent value, especially if the food was as good as we enjoyed."

"I've had oysters all over the world and at some notable seafood restaurants like Doyles at Watson's Bay, in Sydney, but I have never had oysters served freshly shucked, with the "lid" of the oysters still attached to the oyster! They were served cold and without a doubt, the best oysters I have ever had. We were having lunch so we selected the Pig 'N' Whistle Burger and the Pulled Pork Roll. Both were terrific. The staff were really friendly and very professional. The beer is well chilled and the Sauv Blanc on tap, a NZ Marlborough, is also served cold; it's a pity the glasses aren't also kept cold as it takes the edge off the wine a little quicker than if the glasses are cold. We will definitely be back for a dinner meal as the menu is extensive and some of the choices need sampling!"
