"We went in the early afternoon when they weren't busy. Maybe this was an off day because the food wasn't that good. My wife's baby back ribs were really overcooked and hard to eat. She sent it back for Pastrami. My friend and I ordered Pastrami originally and was extremely fatty. We should have returned it but was concerned the replacement would be fatty too. When my wife received her replacement meal, her pastrami was very good and not too fatty. Now we regret not sending ours back. The couple we were with raved over the meal they had weeks ago and felt embarrassed for suggesting this place. Restaurants have off days where food isn't good. We might be back if we are back in town. Disappointed though. Wanted to add that the family was very friendly. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"My absolute favorite little cafe. Consistently delicious food. Have to try their veggie burger and cix salad sandwich. The fries are yummy and the cookies are enormous. This is seriously a real treat. Great for families too because you can sit outside. Sam and Maryanne are the nicest people too. I'd give them 10 stars if I could."

"The Roadside burger is one of the best I've ever had...beef was well seasoned the topping roll perfectly proportioned in relation to the burger. Hot fudge sundae with Del's vanilla was perfect too. What a great little restaurant clean, beautifully landscaped, and open spaces for enjoying the outdoors."

"My husband and I live in Red Hook and absolutely LOVE Prime meats in Rhinebeck. The staff is lovely, accommodating, and are always smiling. The only upsetting aspect is the staff continues to ask the owners for a toaster oven because many people enjoy toasted sandwiches. I know many times my family and I have asked for toasted bread and they have accommodated us during a VERY busy rush hour by toasting bread on the panini press (which is now broken . I have heard multiple times from others and the staff that the owners refuse to purchase a toaster because they insist people do not need things toasted. As much as I love Prime meats, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, purchase a toaster AND fix the panini machine. People enjoy toasty sandwiches!! I 'm willing to purchase a toaster oven for the shop myself in lieu of a sandwich because y 'all make amazing sandwiches!!!!!"
