"Osaka is like Japanese tapas. I had lunch all you can eat (a great value for only $11.95). The decor is attractive, cool and comfortable. There is no buffet, but every dish comes to order. You can order with the waiter as often as you want and as many dishes you want at any order as a Japanese version of Spanish tapas. The service was friendly, professional and fast. The food was as good as the service. I had an Ael-Maki roll and a spicy tuna roll; the rice was well made and not too much on the rolls, the fillings were fresh and delicious. Other appetizers I had were gyoza, shrimps on spits, and fried scallops; all were absolutely delicious. The best I had was the belly of the salmon teriyaki; it was perfectly cooked, cracked on the floor, and so soft and juicy inside with the salmon belly fat. Overall I want to eat regularly here; great food, service and a great restaurant concept."

"Jay's is a Rochester institution that has been around for 53 years. I've personally been coming here since my college all-nighter days of yore. I moved out of the area, but on a recent trip back, we felt the urge to stop in. Like an old friend, Jay's was consistent and dependable. They've got a solid menu with diner staples and always offer daily specials and seasonal items. For me, it's the all-day breakfast. Whether it's Sunday morning breakfast, late night munchies, or just need a place where everyone can find what they want, Jay's is the place. It remains my go-to recommendation for a quality diner in Rochester."

"Really beautiful setup. Free parking behind building. Service was pleasant and friendly but food taste was below average especially for almost $30 plates. My wife got a chipped glass my a bar tender who didn’t really know much about the two drinks being served. We tried a wide variety of dishes that you can see from pictures and we all agreed it wasn’t anything special. Worth trying once but won’t be a regular thing for us."
