We ate with a family of 7 and that alone can be a challenge but the restaurant was very prepared and didnt treat us like a burden as we often get that attitude when we eat out. "I will start with the positive.... The service was good. The waiter was sweet. They were out of iced tea, and the beer we ordered. The food was very disappointing. The salad was sub par. It looked like it was pre-made and kept in the freezer. The 1 cucumber that was on it was translucent, and the tomato was complete mush. The German potato salad was not hot, and didn't tastes good at all. The Wiener schnitzel was pretty tasteless. I asked for more lemon because the lemon slices that came on it had no juice in them. The waiter brought enough lemon that the schnitzel so I was able give it some flavor and moisture. My other half got the prime rib sandwich and fries.. he said it wasn't terrible."

"I stop in here about every other Friday for an Italian beef. They are fantastic and taste just like they do in Chicago! Same with the pizza puffs and the maxwell st polish. If you like Chicago food, you gotta hit this place up. The food is great, they are pretty quick and bring cash as it is cash only, but worth it!"
