"We were turned on to this restaurant by a traveling friend who used to live here and we are so glad! They specialize in one thing and do it well... slow cooked pork heaven. With each option costing less than $1 we would order one of everything and split it all, sometimes adding favorites on for a 2nd round. Just fantastic and a great value."

"Brasa is a beautiful place near the main square. They have variety of options that they present really well. The beet salad was excellent. Prices are affordable. They have a couple artisan beers from GDL. The jamaica sour was not bad. Service was spectacular very attentive and kind. This is a great option on San Cristobal."

"I never write bad reviews about a place I prefer to concentrate on the ones I like. But this was awful and they were not receptive to our concerns about the food. Everything was either dry greasy or undercooked. If you are drunk then its good. If you’re sober than stay far away"

"I went for lunch this time. Chipilin soup was really good. I asked chicken for second dish. It was good yet a little dry. My watermelon-rosemary drink was just ok. Service was average. The staff had some kind of talk going on while I was there. I thought the place would be a little bit more upscale, but wasn't the case. Not a bad choice if you are downtown, not necessarily my first place to go."
