"We entered this restaurant for a late lunch menu del dia. There was one waiter working the whole restaurant. We wanted to be in and out in a reasonable time as we had one day in Segovia but we realised we were going to be...in for a long wait. Our order wasn't taken until 30 minutes after entering and at this point we were just about to leave. The waiter was sweating profusely and he was quite clearly stressed which made for an unpleasant atmosphere. Make sure you brush up on your Spanish as no English spoken there so we had to order a couple of things blind. The food was basic and hearty nothing fancy but no real complaints. We asked for the bill.. and waited.. and waited.. and waited and eventually went up to the till where the only other older gentleman working appeared confused and extremely put out that we wanted to pay when he eventually understood. Overall not a great experience!"
