"Stopped by The Golden Fleece for Sunday lunch, and it is, without a doubt, the best pub Sunday lunch I've had. Chicken for me, beef for the hubby, huge Yorkshires, beautiful mash, plenty of veg. Also recommend the desserts beautiful!"

"My wife and I have enjoyed lunch here on a Friday foryears and always enjoyed it, it is after all only a fish and chip cafe but it is all done well, the fish is cooked well and the batter is the best that we have had from any similar place, the chips are spot on. Staff are pleasant and efficient. What more can you want from this type of establishment?"

"I had the vegan sausage and barlotti bean casserole..... The best vegetarian meal I've had out in years... Which is a huge compliment to the chef tasty, delicious, presentation and filling, wouldnt change anything with it. Definitely be back to have it again. My friend had the pork and leek sausage and mash, presentation was he said it was delicious and tasty. My husband and wife of my friend had the steak and ale pie, unfortunately they were very disappointed with it, my husband had 3 small pieces of meat and my friend had 2, the rest of the pie was filled out with veg and the gravy in the pie was runny. They said it was tasty enough. More meat and no chopped veg with a thicker gravy is needed for it to be classed as beef and ale pie. Service was excellent, wine delicious. Vegetarian options: As per above"
