"The restaurant was once good and pleasant. Unfortunately, the last two visits were not satisfactory. Today we were a group of 4 and wanted to have a quick drink. According to the service staff (the person behind the entrance counter), there was no room for additional guests, even though several tables were free. I don't think anyone has to reserve a table for 3pm on Sunday and it has to be kept free. If so, I would reconsider this strategy for a location with a lot of “walk-in customers”. In general, the mood seemed tense and stressed. Hopefully better next time if we get a place."

"Went there twice. Nice location with good steaks but overpriced in my opinion. Seems to be understaffed as staff makes a rather tense impression; place is really stuffed in the evening. I only go there again when I can't help it."

"We had never had Riesling soup before so I’m not sure Allen Post’s was traditional but it was truly wonderful! I would go back many times just for that. The atmosphere is quaint, the service was very professional and friendly and the food was very...nice."

"We decided to go back to Gallusplätzli and we were not disappointed! the food was excellent, the service as well. good wine card also with weeping at reasonable price. the price/performance ratio is true. the three-course menu (main course rindsfilet with lobster tail) is kreatiw and finely cooked and its price of chf 79 is worth at any time. the location at the cathedrale is also very good - the restaurant can only be recommended. we'll be back."
