"Best place for a meal on a Monday Night! We were visiting Mount Tambourine and to be honest there isn’t much open on a Monday night for dinner. After a recommendation we ended up at the Mount Tambourine Bowls Club. The meal was lovely, reasonably priced and delicious. Especially loved the cheesy garlic bread. Would highly recommend. Staff were so friendly. If you are looking for somewhere for dinner try out the bowls club you won’t be disappointed ps try the chicken schnitzel was fantastic"

"Came here for a couples dinner while visiting Mt Tamborine. The hotel was recommended to us by our accomodation (Aaronlee Retreat). We were extremely happy with the rump steak chips and salad dinner meal, along with the gluten free Chicken Green Curry. Both meals were absolutely fantastic and the mushroom sauce was AMAZING. Really nice friendly atmosphere, two giant and cuddly St Bernard's chilling in the restaurant. And one of the best gluten free chocolate mud cakes I have had in my life.Great place for dinner and food on tap cider (Thatcher)."

"Hickory in Tamborine Mountain is a fantastic little restaurant. They serve delicious, slow cooked ribs, beef, and pork belly. Serving portions were so large that part of them got boxed for take away. The draft beer selection on our visit was quite good. The service was very attentive!"

"A pleasant place to have bite to eat or drink coffee or both! Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Service was great . The food was good with a wide range to choose from. The coffee was excellent and very modest in price. There is indoor or outdoor dining depending on the weather and you are able to watch the passing traffic."

"They took more than half an hour to set our table although a reservation had been made. The food choices were good however they took an hour and a half before we were served the mains and another Alf an hour before dessert. The restaurant was not at it's full capacity even though the meals were severely delayed."

"Came here for brekky upon recommendation from a colleague. Was not disappointed - great food at great prices. Some inventive options but mainly standard breakfast fare. Service was attentive and the sunshine on the balcony was great. Would return."
