"We went to our daughter's birthday and it was a disappointment. The place is well located and beautiful. Food is acceptable. But the service was really bad. The waitress lasted like ten minutes to bring the menus and other tennto the commands with...just bad manners. During the meal there was a problem in the kitchen and smoke came out of it. But the staff seemed to use it, and the service was still slow and lousy. After a few moments the place was full of smoke and was not tolerable for the children. I asked the check, but never came. Then went to the manager and claimed the situation, but he simply replied, 'sory but I don't speak English'. Then I paid the check and left. I didn't get a single excuse ' incredible. the price was also quite high."

"A really great, traditional Savoyarde meal with a great menu. Not cheap but not eye-wateringly expensive, so a nice treat. We had raclette with a bag of warm potatoes, and a charcuterie meat board, as well as their own racletiflette (similar to tartiflette and really...tasty), along with a couple of cocktails and glasses of wine. The staff were really friendly and helpful (as we found them everywhere in Val D’Isere. Definitely worth a visit."

"As can be seen in the picture the menu states that his restaurant is not for people in a hurry, I think this was a typo and it should have said ‘not for people that are hungry’. I have been here a number of times...in the past and this visit proved to be worse than ever before. We entered the restaurant mins before the kitchen opened. We chose to wait as the weather was bad and we had already walked here. We enquired as to whether we could see a menu and put in our orders before the kitchen opened. We were told this was not possible. After the kitchen opened it was minutes before we were taken to our table, we then waited another minutes to have our order taken. Definitely not for people in a hurry! Once we ordered the food did come quick which was good but there were errors on the order but being English we chose to eat it and not say anything to the staff. We ordered a pizza with peppers and onions and it came with peppers and pepperoni, I could understand onions and pepperoni but how did onions disappear from the order to be replaced by pepperoni? We then had a desert where it was not clear whether a chocolate fondant came with any ice cream or normal cream. We asked the waiter who told us that it came on it’s own. We asked if we could have ice cream to which he said yes but for a charge, we decided to take it. The fondant arrived relatively quickly with both cream and ice cream and also our extra ice cream that we had ordered. Luckily they realized the mistake and did not charge us for the extra ice cream. Finally the price. Overall I would say this restaurant is medium/expensively priced. On receiving the bill I was concerned that I had taken class a drugs as we were charge euros for Coke’s."

"The food here is good but expensive. It took ages to order the wine however the recommendations were excellent. Ingrid our waitress was fun and attentive for such a packed dinning room. Atmosphere was good but you do pay for it!!"
