"The Resto du Boucher just outside Vidauban is an odd place. It's decorated half in a Thai style and half in a Texan style. I think they mainly serve steaks so the Texan style is most suited. It can be recognised from the road by the large black and white plastic cow outside - which also gives a clue to what it serves. The service is ok. Most of the waitresses were efficient but a bit grumpy - maybe they are grumpy or maybe they think it's quirky to have grumpy service. If you don't take it too seriously, it's somethign to talk about aduring and afterwards! The food is a little pricey for a roadside restaurant with steaks around 30 euros. However the quality of the food surpasses any quibbles about the place or the service. It is exceptional. Steaks are great quality and extremely well cooked. In the UK, chefs have a tendency to overcook steaks - thesewere cooked exactly as requested. Highly receommended."

"A tomber par terre tellement c'est bon ! La façade ne paye pas de mine mais il faut absolument rentrer. L'accueil est au top. Le patron est un homme charmant qui vous fait partager son amour de la bonne cuisine. La petite serveuse est adorable et que dire du chef de cuisine que nous n'avons pas vue... que sa cuisine est à tomber ! Un vrai régal. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr."
