"Lovely restaurant attached to a hotel. Warm welcome by friendly and attentive staff. We came to the region to enjoy simple, local food and we were not disappointed. A beautiful setting with a terrace under the trees. It is above a road which is not so busy and not disturbing at all. My wife loved her omelette prepared with local cepe mushrooms and I had a delicious cassoulet with confit duck legs which tasted like heaven. Homemade dessert just added to the pleasure."

"After enjoying French cuisine for almost two weeks, this brasserie was a timely digestive oasis with a non- meat salad with fresh ingredients. It was October and the salad included a tasty raspberry and blackberry, crisp bib like lettuce, walnut, small cheese cubes, carrot, yellow pepper and some things that I either can’t remember or cannot identify. All good with a glass of white wine and a peekaboo view of the Montfort Castle. Easy parking."

"We had a perfect evening and eat under beautiful old trees on the terrace of this beautiful hotel. We ate from the 28 € menu and each course was excellent. Amuse Bouches to begin were a delicious petit-pois and orange soup, and a perfect freshly made raue... We then served trout tars with a perfect very fresh salad, tendresses of Charolaise beef with a cepe sauce, and sorbets served with tiny medals and a beer koulis. Flawless cooking and very good value. This was the best meal we had in Vitrac in 2 weeks and we will definitely be back."
