"Two curries and as such inconspicuous. more like a suppe with meat in them. in the did they were so bad that I actually beat them by choking a fresh swirl with some real, followed by a ink tomat and some capsicum (that should have been in the madras anyway) to get some taste! the positive commentary on here that led me to try it seem doubtful as they really do not reflect the quality of the discard and the taste I have experienced. a supermarket would be ten times better. I have spoiled my night of foot. ps the one star is because I had to choose at least 1 while I would give it -5 and trust me that I can cook a curry."

"Went for breakfast with family. Very disappointed. I ordered Egg benedict......hardly any hollandaise sauce and crispy pancetta was just sloppy bacons. My wife ordered Belgian waffle.....waffle was very doughy. We also ordered homemade Portuguese tart.....it was a disaster.....extremely dry inedible piece of tart. We couldn 't eat it. Made a complaint to the waitress but didn 't get much response. Left our honest opinion on Facebook which was conveniently removed by the café owner. Once bitten twice shy......not going back again. God save this café! :"

"I grew up in Wahroonga, even worked at a few of the village cafes over the years behind the machine and waitressing. I've seen the village change a lot in my almost 37 years and when this little place opened it was a pleasant surprise. With a strong background in hospitality myself, I relate to their simple and genuine approach to service. The cafe is super cute and unpretentious and Nancy is adorable and so lovely! Her coffee is always made with love and she is always smiling. It is the sort of place you just always want to go back to! I now live abroad 6 months of the year and it's the first place I go when I get back. Big tick from me!"
