"I visited the Three sugars on Queen’s Birthday and I had one of the most pleasant and enjoyable dining experiences in my life. <br/ <br/ From the moment I walked in, three staff had already greeted me with a smile and offered to help me. Despite the cafe being packed, I barely had to wait any time at all to order my coffee and meal. I’m amazed how broad the menu was, there was an abundance of options. <br/ <br/ I received my meal barely fifteen minutes after I had ordered my meal, and ever aspect of it was delicious! I ordered a Mocha and it was excellent (Mochas are, in my opinion, very hard to do since it can be tricky to find the right balance between coffee and chocolate). <br/ <br/ My meal was the big breakfast and it definitely lived up to its name. A huge portion of well-cooked sausages, eggs and a delectable hash brown! Even the toast was done to perfection! <br/ <br/ Despite the pressure and stress all the staff were under, I had an outstanding experience from start to finish! I cant wait to re-visit the next time I’m in Warburton!! Well done everyone!!!"

"Stunning erbe listed building with stunning views of the river yarra. However, these sparkles fades when they sit to order food. I brought my wife to the Alpine hotel to lunch and dessert, in the hope to have the classic chicken parma. Unfortunately, the menu on the day had nothing that my wife could eat so that she wanted to order the pasta from the children's menu. we said we couldn't order children without a child under 12. good enough, I thought so I asked if we could order a larger portion for an adult. we said we couldn't, but the employee who served us at the bar went to the kitchen to ask if it was possible. We were told no again. when we wanted to talk to the chef or decision-maker, the employee went back to the kitchen and came back to tell us that the person was occupied to make menus on the computer. we were told that the meal times are pre-portioned, so that there was no flexibility, not even a double service cost. we decided not to order food and leave immediately. extremely disappointing service and a stupid reason to lose a customer. I will be digging in the future with competitors."

"We stopped here for tea on Friday, 29 Sept. The place was heaving, but we were seated promptly by a friendly young waiter. The scones were light and airy, and of an even consistency throughout the best we've had in a while. The chips were to die for. The wait staff were very conscientious about orders, ensuring they got special requests right. The food arrived promptly. We were on the deck in the back, with several well behaved dogs in attendance. With the river rushing by, it was a really lovely place to end a day trip to Warburton. Nice Job, guys!"

"Highly recommend...Christine, Yvonne staff went out of their way to make our overnight stay a great one! Beautiful old 1920's charm with period style but modern room's surrounded by lovely gardens. Was absolutely awesome sitting on our room's private balcony over-looking the beautifully kept gardens lawn to the running Yarra river... we'll definately be back soon!"
