"We had a great lunch at The Liebig. Their lunch special soups were amazing, and super value. We also tried the duck pancakes which were yummy! The staff were extremely friendly. The service was quick and our water glasses were never empty. I would thoroughly recommend The Liebig and will most definitely be returning."

"In 2020 for our 36th Wedding Anniversary, Warrnambool was in a hard lock down due to Covid 19, so we ordered in at home from The Hairy Goat Tapas Cocktail Bar to mark the occasion. We were very impressed with the food and service. Wouldn 't you know it, but the Delta put us in lock down again in 2021, though at least this year we were not confined to home. So we decided to continue the tradition by visiting The Hairy Goat for our 37th! Upon arrival, the check in process and layout of the venue followed the Covid safe guidelines and it was obvious that everything had been cleaned before we were seated. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service was prompt and efficient. The venue also had a cosy vibe. To mark the occasion we had a couple of cocktails to start which were perfect. As we enjoy sharing, we opted for the Special from the Tapas Menu where five selections were made by the Chef. This included arancini balls, soft tacos, pulled pork sliders, grilled corn cobs and salt and pepper squid. A carafe of their house made Sangria complemented the meal which finished with a serving of churros to share. All in all, a very enjoyable evening and a great night out !! Thanks to The Hairy Goat and we 'll see you next year, lock down or not ;"

"Thumb up: one of the biggest restaurant in town. Good variety of food in menu. Runs dishes of the day frequently. Very Chinese taste.<br/>Thumb down: some dishes were overpriced. Better to come with a few people. Would be expensive if dine in with 1 2 people."

"Well-kept secret. I am continually disappointed with the quality of dining in the south west after moving to the area two years ago, but India Gate is an exception. It's worked its way into my routine, heading down there about every three weeks to get a chicken sagwala with na'an and steamed rice for about $25. A fairly standard price for what is, consistently, a rich, tasty, fulfilling meal. <br/ <br/ I have also tried the butter chicken, which is a little sweeter than I am used to, but is still of top quality. The only disappointing experience I have had was when the lamb was severely overcooked, leading to hard lumps floating in the curry sauce. But one bad experience out of about 20 is a pretty good return, especially for a Warrnambool restaurant.<br/ <br/ The one thing I cannot understand is how it is usually fairly empty on most nights. I feel the people of Warrnambool are missing out on high-quality food, with pleasant service in a warm setting. Perhaps it is hard to spot as people race around the Liebig Street corner. Perhaps it is because Indian cuisine has yet to establish itself in this part of regional Victoria. <br/ <br/ Highly recommended."

"AWESOME FAMILY DINNER!!!!<br/>We really, REALLY enjoyed our meal tonight at Cactus Jam. Lovely flavours, everything is made fresh and in house. The salsa! OMG so good! Fresh, zingy spicy. Big call, but probably the BEST I’ve ever had. The boys had the Quesidillas, and Jenna I enjoyed the chicken and beef Fajitas which arrived sizzling furiously on a sizzle plate served along with tortillas and sides of Mexican rice, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, cheese and that amazing salsa. We loved the experience of sharing across the table. My lemon margarita complimented the meal perfectly.<br/>The new owners are such lovely people, we really enjoyed ourselves!"
