"I would love to give this place 10 Stars if I could! Gareth and Eriko have started something very special in Woodend. From friendly, smiling front of house staff to bang on, おいしい Japanese cuisine which is the best I have had outside of Tokyo, this place ticks all the boxes! I only hope that us 'locals ' can get a table when the cool and trendy Melbournites find out how amazing this place. All the best with your exciting journey!"

"Super sad to review negatively but really didn't have a great meal ordered beef korma, butter chicken and they were really over sweet in taste (actually couldn't eat the korma). Also, the korma only had 6 small beef pieces and was swimming in sauce. The butter chicken was more generous, but still not the standard in other places we have bought from. I think its important to share this so it doesn't continue. The rice and samosa were fine.The staff seem lovely, the website was easy, the prices were ok, so if this could be adjusted then i am sure it would be a great place to eat."

"We were a booking of 10 with a late lunch before we see Elton John in Hanging Rock! We sat upstairs, which meant we could have drinks on the balcony, the food and service were both excellent, I would highly recommend!"

"We stopped here and quietly for a place to have bar food. the place was also very warm with the fans. leimen is quite small for its price kiew cut freesort chicken parma is small in size, but the soße was tasty and complimented the ham and cheese good fish and chips are average. slightly stratified fish that is crispy, but the chips are lukewarm and soggy cape grim beef burger was filled with maple bacon, American chess and placed on a brioche beer. meat is grilled for the smokey taste to finish the meal, the sticky date pudding was the highlight. soft, dense and the correct amount of sweet"
